This Mother's Day was extra special for me because it was also the day our church had a baby dedication service. It was an opportunity for Cory and I to publicly say we are choosing to raise Jenna in a way that honors God and shows her her need for Christ.
Here are some pictures from the service:
This is a picture of some of the parents waiting to go on stage to be introduced. There are six families represented in this picture, and that is only about half of everyone there.
Here we are on stage being presented with a children's Bible for Jenna. We brought Trevor into the service with us because we wanted him to be a part of it as well.
The prayer after all the families are announced. It looks like Jenna is folding her hands and praying while Trevor is watching to make sure she does it correctly.
Another reason why this year was extra special is that my parents came into town to be present at Jenna's dedication. After the service we all (including Cory's parents) had lunch at our house. We tried to get a good picture of the kids with my parents, and this was the best we got.
