She did it!

Our Jenna has finally done it!  She has learned how to go from a laying down position to a sitting position.  We're so proud of her, and thankful to God that her development is starting to progress again.  These pictures are from the first time she managed to do it (Dec. 4, 2010).  It was very early in the morning and I couldn't actually see her, so that's why she isn't looking at the camera in the first pic.  After this day she wasn't able to do it again until this past Friday (Dec. 10, 2010), but now she does it consistently through out the day.  She has also started getting up on all fours and is trying to figure out crawling.  The only downside to her finally learning these things is that she is now refusing to lay down at nap times and bed time.  It takes several times of me going in there and laying her down before she'll go to sleep.  But, that little issue is definitely worth it for her to be developing.

The first pic I took.  Definitely not great, but I'm proud of her so I wanted to show it anyway.

She's wondering why in the world I would be taking her picture so early in the morning.

Tomorrow Jenna will be assessed by a physical therapist and an educator to determine what types of therapies she requires and how often she needs it.  We're so proud of how hard she's been working, but are extremely thankful that she'll be getting some extra help.
