These are a few pictures that show how Jenna spent most of our trip to the beach. She was either sleeping, eating, or crying for pretty much most of the trip. I'm sure she'll enjoy her next trip much more.
On a very different note, Jenna had her 6 month check-up with the doctor today. It went pretty well, overall. Jenna weighs 13 lbs 12 oz (10th percentile), is 24 1/2 inches long (25th percentile) and her head is in the 50th percentile. In the doctor's words, she's petite. I was a little concerned about her weight because it had dropped into a different growth curve, but the doctor isn't. I'm so thankful for a doctor that doesn't view weight changes as a reason to stop breastfeeding, but he does want to see her a little early for her 9 month check-up (we'll go closer to 8 months) to be sure that her size is being determined by genetics and not something else. I'm really glad he is cautious enough to want us to come back, but doesn't try to scare me or make me overly worried. He really reassured me about her growth and development.
Just for fun, I looked up Trevor's stats from his 6 month appointment, he was 17 lbs 4oz and 29 inches long. Such a difference!
