One of Trevor's favorite Christmas presents this year was a "Super Why" costume. Super Why is a cartoon on PBSkids that involves a little boy named Wyatt who becomes Super Why and he along with his friends go into various story books to solve problems. Trevor now has an alter ego called Super Trevor that got started not long after Christmas.
Here he is on the morning of the 26th. He wasn't happy I was taking his picture because he was trying to "save the day".
The cape from behind
This is a couple of days later. Breakfast tastes even better when you're a super hero.
We had some errands to run. . . I wouldn't let him wear his cape in the car so he held on to the costume while we drove.
At Target he was on the lookout for "bad guys". Thankfully, there weren't any there that day.
Then we headed to Wal-Mart.
After our errands we headed back home. He didn't take his costume off until bedtime that night, and only then because we made him so he wouldn't play instead of sleeping. He still loves this costume and will play with it almost daily. Best $8 ever spent on a gift!
